Dior clearly put its heart and soul into the lovely Ethnic collection.It’s smart and utterly chic, all done up in an enigmatic red color and boasting the Dior signature print on nylon. A leather flap is decorated with an applique heart, while unusual moccasin stitching adds personality to an already vibrant accessory. It’s too bad this is just a wallet. I’m on the lookout for a bag in this color!

For me, nylon will never pack the same punch as leather or satin. Still, this Dior St. Tropez Tote does an excellent job of looking glam and luxe considering its (in my opinion) second-rate fabric. That’s probably due to the shiny sheen and the quilted detail, although a hanging silver Dior “D” logo charm doesn’t hurt either. This is a handbag I’d want to take on vacation, as the size is perfect as a carry-on travel bag or as a beach bag - just throw in some magazines, sunblock, and a towel and you’re good to go.
