Women and Designer Handbags
Tuesday, September 14th, 2010
Though small but I have the things I need to carry with me. There are things about being a woman who can do anything or bring anything in such a small bag. We sometimes call it self-preservation, in case of emergency.
There are many kinds of handbags that interest us in many ways. Of course, the color, the designs and the ‘one-of-the-kind’ look that is so different from all the other. In other words, quality! Of course, quality is much better than quantity, right? Have you ever experience walking in a place, having a handbag that is so different from all the others that one of them asks you where you get it and how much it cost; only you never tell them that it is on sale? Surely, we experience that in many ways. It was never about the quantity of the bag but rather, the quality of it. Having that kind of bag brings the originality of the user in it. They also say that it also depends on the person wearing it or rather ‘holding’ it.
Buying the most expensive or the latest is one way to say you’re following the fashion or the trends. It is also ways of saying you’re being materialistic among other things. Sometimes, we have to be realistic and pragmatic at the same time.
Buying the latest designer handbags doesn’t mean you have to buy the most expensive. You just have to be trendy even if you just buy it from a local retail store. There’s no harm in buying a thing that couldn’t last a lifetime. Sometimes you have to be practical. Following what’s trendy doesn’t last in the real world.
Buying the latest designer handbags sometimes disappear slowly until they create a new one. When you think about it, it is much better to buy a handbag that is much to your needs in your everyday use. It’s a shame that you buy a handbag worth so much only to find out that it doesn’t go with everything. Being a woman, it is in us to buy exactly what we need but when we want it, we buy it on the spot. For every good designer handbag, it’s every woman for herself.
